OLIO EXTRA VERGINE DI OLIVA
The Euganean Hills are an excellent environment for the cultivation of olives. In the commune of Arquà Petrarca olive oil production has a very long history and up until 1960 no less than 3 mills with grindstones operated in the little town.
Our olive groves are located on two small farms situated on the southern side of Mount Ventolone at altitudes between 100 and 200 m above sea level, and are made up of the Rasara (a local biotype of the Frantoio cultivar), Leccino and Matosso varieties.
The Borin family produces an extra virgin olive oil that is ideal as part of a healthy, varied diet, thanks to its excellent nutritional properties and its satisfying level of natural anti-oxidants.
In the kitchen, with its delicate fruity aroma, it does not overshadow the original tastes of the other ingredients; at the table, on the other hand, used straight from the bottle, it has a mellow flavour and is particularly easy to digest.
